Did you know that doubt and unbelief can creep up on us without our awareness? Whenever we feel things like distress, frustration, sorrow, and unhappiness, there is a good chance that we have allowed the arrows of doubt and unbelief to pass by our shields of faith. It is difficult, even impossible, to have joy and peace when our hearts are full of doubt and unbelief. When we are aware of our emotional state, it's time to take action and trust in God....One of the best ways to do this is to read the Bible; Faith comes by being exposed to the word of God. 📖 When we read the Bible, we give the Holy Spirit opportunity to renew and strengthen our ability to believe and have faith!!

Not everything in our lives may be a cause for happiness, we have at least one thing that should make us happy. HOPE and your salvation in Christ. Be patient in troble. Indeed, James tells us that we should be joyful in our troubles, because they make us "perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" Instead of trouble overwhelming our patience and our happiness, our happiness and our patience should overwhelm our trouble. If trouble can overwhelm our patience, then we are still immature in the faith. Pray all the time. Prayer life can support our patience and happiness. This is because when we pray about our trouble we can also pray that God will maintain and sustain our patience and our happiness through it all.

In many places in the Bible we are told not to worry, or be anxious, or be fearful about what the future may hold. The Apostle Paul said that we shouldn't be anxious about anything. The trouble with worry, anxiety, and fear is that they are a waste of time. We waste time by worrying and being anxious about how we will deal with what we have to do tomorrow rather than what we are called to do today. We have plenty to do today. Worry and anxiety about tomorrow interfere with what is present before us; they add nothing to our purpose in life; they hold us back in every respect.
